Private comprehensive health and performance assessment

We offer a private preventive health screening package including comprehensive
ultrasound examination of

  • the carotid arteries
  • thyroid ultrasound
  • cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography)
  • abdominal ultrasound
  • ultrasound assessment of the arteries and veins of the legs.
  • comprehensive laboratory diagnostics
  • subsequent physician consultation

To ensure optimal quality during the abdominal ultrasound, we recommend not eating for 4 hours before the examination. Prescribed medications may be taken as usual with a glass of water.

All ultrasound examinations and the subsequent detailes physician consultation are carried out on the same day at our clinic.

At the end of your appointment, you will receive a comprehensive written report of all findings, including treatment recommendations where appropriate.

We recommend including comprehensive laboratory testing at our office. If you prefer to have it performed at a different laboratory, we are happy to provide a laboratory referral. We recommend having your blood drawn at least 5 working days before your appointment at a laboratory of your choice, or fasting at our clinic, so that the completed laboratory results are available for discussion during your consultation.
For patients without an Austrian mandatory statutory health insurance coverage, laboratory
testing performed at our clinic is billed as a private service. [Additional private laboratory

Comprehensive private preventive and performance assessment package

For patients seeking the inclusion of a performance test, this preventive assessment package includes

  • exercise stress testing (ergometry),
  • comprehensive laboratory diagnostics,
  • ultrasound examination of the carotid arteries,
  • thyroid ultrasound,
  • cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography),
  • abdominal ultrasound
  • ultrasound assessment of the arteries and veins of the legs.

All examinations, including blood collection, are performed on the same day at our clinic.

To optimize abdominal ultrasound quality, we recommend not eating for 4 hours before the examination. Prescribed medications may be taken as usual with a glass of water.

A follow-up consultation is scheduled on a seperate day. During this appointment, your physician will review all examination findings, including the labaratory results available at that time, in a detailed personal discussion.

You will receive a comprehensive written report of all findings, including treatment recommendations where appropriate.

Individual Private Ultrasound Examinations

You may choose either:

  • Ultrasound examination with a subsequent physician consultation – we are pleased to
    offer a detailed review of your examination results at our clinic, or
  • Ultrasound examination with a written report only, to be discussed at a later timepoint with a physician of your choice. Should you prefer this option, we kindly ask that you arrange an appropriate follow-up appointment independently. Please be aware that in this case responsibility for organizing this physician consultation rests
    with you.
