About me
Patients often come to me for a second opinion in order to deal with diseases of the esophagus (reflux, Barrett’s, achalasia), stomach (stomach ulcer, early carcinomas), intestines (polyps, early carcinomas), liver (biliary diseases) or the pancreas (chronic pancreatitis) to discuss endoscopic alternatives to conventional surgery.
Nowadays, many patients can be treated with endoscopic therapies instead of conventional surgery. In order to offer these partly complex endoscopic interventions of cutting- edge technology, I am in a lively research exchange with leading endoscopy centers in Japan and China.
